Using Version 13.
Editing an older design. With already several copper pour areas, already.
I seem to can not get any submenu for "Copper pour area", in the Add menu.

Am I missing something obvious ?
The back of my head tells me I have tried this before.
It is a new SW installation on a new PC. So I have been scrutenizing the settings. But nothing obvious came up.

I don't know what would be causing your problem, but as a workaround can you just copy an existing copper pour? I'll sometimes do that if I want a new coper pour with exactly the same properties as an existing one. Saves a few seconds.

It's not just hidden because you haven't used it for a while, is it? I seem to remember EPC used to hide menu items that were rarely used, the same as MS office did. Look for a double arrow at the bottom of the menu and hover over it for a few seconds.

It has nothing to do with the auto hide function.
The menu item is simply not there.

I have tried to open other designs, with or without Pour copper area.
No change.
I have thought of copying an existing area, but it is quite clumsy, and yet the problem is not really solved.

It may be worth trying to reset the menus:www.numberone.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=378" target="_blank"> br / www.numberone.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=378

Well that did not change anything either.
I also tried to open another project as the poster did.

No change

..I also learned that my old[cannot-close-a-project] still persist in the new PC installation.
When closing a project, the application crashes on the attempt to close the schematic part.
But this is another problem.

I would suggest a complete un-install, and manually delete all traces of the program and then reinstall fresh.

It is actually a new fresh installation. But this of course does not guarantee anything.

Now I have discovered that actually there are a "speedbutton" for "copper pour" in standard left placed button pane.
Suprisingly it is also working

But show up in the Add menu, it will not...
