Just for info.....
Using V15.08, Windows7, 64 bit in dual screen mode.
When I auto rename the schematic component designators, I initially get the updated designator info, but then, when I Forward Design Changes (to pcb), I get a repeatable unrecoverable error. Change to single screen mode and all is well!
