Found a few problems with star points. Firstly if using SM pads on the top or bottom layers, they seem to work ok creating no design errors. However if you use pads on an inner layer, you can overlap them with no problem, but as soon as you add tracks to them they create drill hole errors !. Using this form of utility lends itself to say connecting an analogue and digital power planes together which could be on inner layers so I find this a bit of a bug.

Further to this even when using star points on the top or bottom layers (when they seem to work as expected) it says in the help file ......

"In a PCB, if you start a Connection or Track on a starpoint pad, you get a list of nets to
choose from. If you end a conn/track on a Star Point pad, and the net is not on any of the
pads, a list of nets will be offered. If a Star Point pad is not yet on a net it will be shown in
the list with just its pad number so you can still pick it to receive the net name from the
Connection or Track."

I cannot seem to get this to happen !

Anyone else had any problems ???
