How to add non PCB component (Schematic Only)?

All my parts lists are generated automatically from within Easy PC and the system works very well. However there is one slight issue I have that I think could be improved, hopefully in a future version.

If I place a fuseholder on a schematic it ends up on the PCB and on the parts list. If I now place a fuse to go in the holder on the schematic, I don't want it on the PCB, but I do want it on the parts list. However since the component has no PCB footprint it is missing from the Bill Of Materials.

A similar issue happens when I created a drawing of a daughterboard as a component. It has no electrical connections and so wouldn't appear on the PCB.

I have created a component which is a fuse. This has a schematic symbol and a component entity but no layout symbol.
This then appears on the schematic based parts lists.
If you create your parts lists from the PCB (which you may need to do if you have a multi-sheet schematic) you can create a dummy symbol for the PCB but not place it. Any such dummy PCB symbols must have at least one pad (as must the schematic symbol in this instance).
I use the same mechanism when using Spice modelling, such items as Voltage sources and probes are used with no Layout symbol.
Spice models are not normally used with connectors etc (at least for low frequency use) so these are ignored for modelling but appear on schematic and layout.
