I want to use a schematic which is living in a project file (A) to use in a different project file (B). I open up project file (B) and click on 'add to project' and I navigate to the schematic that I want but I get a message to say that it failed to open the target schematic. Can you tell me how to extract a schematic from a project file?
Also, once I have got said schematic how do I turn it into a block? Plus, I need 8 copies of the original block so how will the numbering of the components within each block happen? If I add other schematics which may have the same component reference such as C1 say will the new block change the reference to suit the new project?
