Hi all

I was using the ground plane by allocating a net (GND) to a layer.

And apparently after generating the gerber nothing...

The ground plane is just not there...

So I guess the fix would be to use coper pour area but wouldnt you expect this to work?!

Remi,

I will give you a hint .... Never use the powerplane feature .... ALWAYS use copper pour ... why ?? ... well I have posted this before, but basically if the perforations in the plane can join up to create an island of copper .. and there is a connection in that island, the DRC checker does not flag an error !!. However if you use copper pour it always does !.

When you create the Gerber file, check the settings on the 'Settings' tab for the power plane plot. It sounds like you may have made a mistake there.
