I have a suggestion for a future release.

Where I have created a bus, and assigned nets to it, can the whole connected bus on the schematic use these names?

Whenever a new segment is added to the bus, it is necessary to keep adding the net names to the bus segment.

Agreed it would be good if busses could be joined in the same way as tracks, but at present that's just a wish list item.

The simple work around for this is to copy a segment of the existing bus, then edit it to the desired shape. That way the properties of the initial bus are inherited.

Thanks.

How do you edit the bus to the desired shape? One problem I encounter is not making it long enough, then having to add small segments, and set all the nets again.

And if you're looking at the bus manipulation features, how about being able to hook them to the To / From schema objects to simplify multi-sheet schematics.

Busses are just lines, so they can be edited using the same method as you would for shapes or tracks.

Double click on the bus, press <End> to take you to the end. If it's the wrong one, press <I> then <End> again. Now just extend as required. <Backspace> takes out the previous corner, and <PgDn>, <PgUp> move towards and away from the end respectively.
