I think there is a possible bug to be aware of with component to component spacing design rule checking when components are on opposite sides of the board.
The help file (14.0.1) says:- "Checking between components is done using what the application determines is the component 'body'. By default this uses the enclosing box round all shapes and pads on the same side of the board as the component, and the enclosing box round the pads on the other side (for through-hole components). "
I have a through hole connector with a large silk screen outline on the component side of the PCB and on the solder side several SMD parts which are inside the the silkscreen of the through hole connector but a long way from the pads. This situation should not give design errors (but it does) as the outline of the connector on the solder side should be defined by the pads, not the silkscreen.
I have made tech support aware of this hopefully there will be a fix soon . . .
