Hi,
This might not seem as important as most of the other topics in this forum, but to me this is an annoyance.
It's about manual routing of tracks. When adding a track, using the Orthogonal segment mode, only one segment is placed each time I left-click. The next segment is still being edited. This, I like.
If I use Right-Angle segment mode, both "edited" segments are placed when I left-click. I never, ever, use this mode, because I don't like it.
Now, the mode I use the most is Mitre. But, unfortunately, it operates in a way similar to Right-Angle. That is, If the "loose" tracks are first horizontal and then 45° (or opposite), then both segments are placed when I click. This way, I have to be careful about placing two segments every time I click, or (as I usually do) I press 'Flip' after each click, toggling between horizontal/vertical tracks and 45° tracks. I hope this made sense.
Now, my question is: Is there an option I've never located, which makes the Mitre mode work more like the Orthogonal mode?
Best regards, ErikT
P.S. I'm using the latest version of Easy-PC.

The simple answer is no, there's no single segment mitre mode.
However, if you use the orthogonal mode so that you're getting right angled corners, after you've finished the track you can mitre them easily by double clicking on the corner and pushing it in.
This may be an easier alternative to your present strategy. |
