Would it be possible to have an icon for Edit - Packages ? (Or if there is one, please could someone tell me where?!) I always seem to have trouble finding it in the menu (I think I always go for 'view', rather than 'edit'!) and I think it would be a useful thing to have a shortcut for, IMHO!
Best wishes, Olga. |

You're quite right, this isn't present. I'm logging a request on your behalf for a new right click menu entry, 'Edit Package in Library' together with associated icon for an editing toolbar. Thatwould also imply the possibility of providing a shortcut key as well. |

Sorry, I think I didn't make my meaning clear (although your suggestion would be very wlecome too!)
What I meant was: within the library component editor itself, could there be a 'packages' shortcut icon to show the different packages which are defined for the part, rather than having to find it from the Edit menu?
(This is where I always try to find it in the View menu; to my mind, I want to view the packages, not necessarily edit them!)
Sorry for the confusion, I hope it's clearer now!
Best wishes, Olga. |

...and here's me thinking you were discussing 3D view!
OK, no problem, I'll log a request for that as well. |

So the menu option is there, but not on the menu you expect, so you want to add a toolbar button for it, but the command is not in the list of available commands on the Customise dialog.
Is that what you meant? |

Well that's lucky, because that's the bug we've fixed in 13.0.2, you should now find Edit Packages appears on the Customise dialog (you may still need to look under 'All Commands' for a reason we couldn't work out in time for the patch). |

Yay! That's exactly what I was after, thank you
(BTW, in the Releases thread, the link to the update page seems to be broken.)
Best wishes, Olga. |
