Firstly, thank you for the many improvements in V13. I've had a bit of a play with it, and my first impressions are definitely positive. I'm sure I'll discover exactly how useful all the new features are when I use them properly. (I particularly like the sense of humour in the supplement; p26; "... instead of the existing drr, dcr, xyz, etc. file extensions." LOL! )

The dual screen option is very nice (apart from it not working for integrity reports!) as it's given me an excuse^Wreason to dual-head my machine ;) I definitely like the Accepted DRC checks.

However, there are a couple of things which seem to be missing... One is the option to have bullet-shaped pads with the hole at the centre of the rounded bit (or other odd-shaped pad for that matter). I know that this has been requested before.

The 3D print option 'print background in white' is a good idea... would it be possible to have that in the schematic as well? I currently have a setup with a mid-grey background (it's easier on the eyes) and I've had to define a 'circuit print' colour scheme to stop it printing the background colour.
I've also done the same for the PCB to make shapes 'print' in white... otherwise I get a mess of colour or just a splodge of black from the copper poured areas when I try to print it! (I have a definition called 'black copper pour' so I don't usually see it, to remind me, until I've printed it!)
I guess that this isn't a particularly major problem, since I've already found a work-around, but I just thought I'd pass on my 2p

I dunno, you give us all this nice functionality, and all it does is make us want more! The ingratitude of users!

Best wishes,
Olga.

Thanks for the fixes in the update too; especially the opening different instances & the integrity check on dual-head machines ones :) Quick work

Best wishes,
Olga.

Thanks for the plaudits. It's nice to have a few, as we usually only get told the problems/omissions. I'll pass on all your comments, but as we're now into August, the staff insist on going on these things called 'holidays' (I think I remember what it means), so things will slow down somewhat.

You're welcome I think it's always good to praise as well as complain... Carrot & stick doesn't work if there's no carrot!

I just wanted to know if you guys were aware that the software in dual screen mode is very unstable...

To be honest I reached a point where I went back to the original one because of the crashes and slugish performances

Were you able to see any particular pattern to the problem, certain functions not behaving for example, or is it just a vague situation of being 'generally flaky' after running for a while?

Obviously we're keen to sort out any issues, particularly those that cause the program to be unstable, so any pointers you (or others) can give towards things that have caused you problems would be very useful.
