I'm on a pre V20 installation and about to install V21. Whats the best way to install this? Over the top? or a separate version.
I've noticed in the past that Easy PC does not clear the installation when installing over the top and the old version is still listed as installed and cannot be removed with out messing about.
Hi Andy. I backup all the folders Colour Files, Library, Report Templates and Technology just in case, then uninstall EPC through the usual Windows method then install the new version. I find this avoids the confusion over what Windows thinks is installed. I suspect that you could have both versions installed as separate programs but I have had issues in the past installing a new version on top of the old version.
