I've noticed this before but it's just done it again and I'm not sure why.

To explain, I wanted to make a 3way terminal block PCB shape. I had a 2way one on file so I did it the lazy way by hitting copy, renaming the new shape and then going in and editing it by adding a pad and stretching the outline.

All good so far, but when I go to save the edited shape I get the message "Technology settings have changed" followed by the option to save those changes. But what's changed, and why? It doesn't say. I haven't deliberately changed anything.

Just a guess, maybe the existing part uses a pad style that is also in the technology file but with different settings. EasyPC will load the technology file and then load the part for editing. This causes the pad style settings to change, thus causing the prompt to save them.

Possibly not, I generated the new pad by highlighting pad2 and hitting Duplicate - pad3 sprang to life and would have been (in theory) a clone of pad2.
