Hi,

When running a DRC in schematic, it states that there are Schematic Only errors such as the Schmatic Frame (A1, A2, A3), or the FROM/TO compnent.

Is this a known bug - i have been through changing the FROM/TO off page connections and the same happens - at least one for Schematic Frame, a FROM and a TO in each schematic. (concerned in case it may affect the translation to PCB)

Regards,

Richard.

Hi Peter,

Thanks - no explicit acronym stated for SO = Schematic Only, but the subject is there.

Regards,

Richard.

If you've got a schematic open, go to [Tools], [Design Rule Check], and you'll see the option for checking for schematic only parts. With that window open, press <F1> and you'll see that it is mentioned in the help file, though only briefly.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the reply.

I just wanted to confirm that this was the case - no impact on the PCB. The SO designation is not listed in the Help file.

Regards,

Richard.

Not sure what you mean ..... these are schematic only components ... so are being highlighted as such .... they have NO affect on the PCB
