I cannot update to the new V22.0.1.

Comes up with the following.

The code execution cannot proceed because mfc140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

I've arranged for a fresh (V22.0.1) download link to be sent. Running this without uninstalling first will bring up (amongst others) a 'Repair' option. This will reinstate all the program files, plus any standard files which were part of the original installation. I expect this to resolve the problem.

suggest you download and run the VS2017 runtime installer from here:
https://numberone.com/downloads/tools/vcredist_vs2017_x86.exe

then try Setup again.

Try downloading the files from Microsoft or Downloading Visual Studio (latest version).
Beware of downloading them from other sources as they may be full of nasties!
