Hi,

It is quite refreshing with the new user interface for editing the component.
I found a bug while renaming the package name in the tab "Packages"

The top of the page allows me to select the packages available in this component, while the bottom having to text field "Package Name" & "Description" showing the current package.

The current package is "soic".
Then I click on, for my example package "msop". The "Package Name" text field refreshes to "msop". Wanting to rename it to "msop-08", I edited the text field. Instead of updating the package for msop, the current "soic" package gets the renaming to msop-08, which is incorrect.
The program actually updates to the current package instead of the package that I click on.

It is only when the package is selected and I click on the button "Make Current" before editing the "Package Name" text field, will I not get the bug.
This is probably the previous version way of editing another package property.

It is kind of confusing...
Appreciate if you can look into this.
Thanks.

Best Regards
Siong Boon

Although the Number One team read this forum, you will probably get bugs fixed by reporting them using the "email support" option from within Easy PC.

In this case we've seen the message, reproduced the problem, and logged it to be investigated and fixed. But generally it is certainly better to report actual problems direct to us, and come to the forum for general requests for ideas and assistance, hints and tips, and possibly pleas for help in urgent situations outside working hours.

David.
