Every time I update the "Show clearances" setting switches off.

Is this a bug?

The settings for showing clearances are stored in each design file, and are changed by View, Display, Settings & Highlights, using the boxes for 'Show Clearances'. So its hard to see how installing a patch could change the settings in your design files.

Yes but it has happened and not only once.
I think somebody else has had the same problem on the forum.

I had used the 17.0 to 17.05 upgrade as I had missed one out.

Maybe this full upgrade causes this?

I have also had crashes on forward design changes.

Could this also cause this.

If you are getting problems with Forward Design Changes then I suggest you take patch 17.0.6 which should sort this out. As for the preferences switch, we are still mystified about how this could change.
