I'm not quite sure if this is an Easy-PC issue, but I don't know where else to go.
I recently switched from the trusty old Win XP to Win 7. Now, Easy-PC complains that fonts are missing, even though I have installed the same fonts.
The problem seems to be that the style names are somehow translated to Danish, even though I use an English Windows 7. This problem only appears in Easy-PC, because all the other programs I've tried have a separate style selector.
I would like to have added a partial screenshot, but I'll have to explain it in text. When I view the font in Windows' Control panel, the font names are
Univers Bold
Univers Bold Italic
Univers Medium
Univers Medium Italic
and so forth.
But in Easy-PC the very same fonts are called
Univers Halvfed
Univers Halvfed Kursiv
Univers Normal
Univers Normal Kursiv
Clearly, this is an attempt to translate the style names to Danish. Initially, the thought is just plain silly (in my opinion). But more seriously, it keeps Easy-PC from recognizing the font names, when opening an older project, or using a library symbol that includes such a font name.
Is this a Microsoft bug or a Number One Systems bug? Is there a fix/work-around? Or can you come up with a patch some day?

For a workaround, have you tried copying the fonts you want to use and giving them the "Danglish" names that EasyPC is expecting to find? It means you will have two identical fonts with different names, which isn't a very elegant solution, but might work.

It's the other way around. Easy-PC expects to find English font names, but can only see the "Danglish" ones. Might be worth a try, but I rather doubt that it will work. Thank you for the advice anyway.
