Hi,
I have recently installed the 16.0.6 patch and now the duplicate shortcut button does not work. The error message 'no suitable data for paste found on the clipboard' pops up.
Has anyone else seen this error and does anyone know how to rectify the problem?
A control C control V still works so i assume this is a bug in EPC.

Thanks

What kind of item are you trying to duplicate? I have just opened a PCB design in my 16.0.6 and duplicated a component, so I don't think the feature is completely broken.

Hello David,
It is the same with any component.
The function does work the first half a dozen times when the program has just been started. After this i cannot duplicate anything in either PCB or schematic.

Is there an easy way to roll EPC back to 16.0.5 to see if this fixes the problem?

Thanks for your help

One thing i have just noticed, This problem is intermittent for me.
If i keep pressing the D button, eventually it will work.

Thanks

Tried mine and all ok ..... sounds like maybe another program hogging CPU resources in the backgrounf .... maybe a security scanner ?

Iain,
Thank you for this.
The culprit would appear to be Microsoft outlook 2010.
Closed the program and all runs fine. I won't get started on a rant about microsoft...

Thanks all for your help
Kind regards
Lee

Hi Lee,

Outlook express sometimes runs a compression in the background. Might be the same thing.

Anyway glad all is well...
