Another suggestion, there is currently the component values, which allow easy editing of parameters associated with all components, but how about a similar component properties form which displays (and edits) the properties of a component (component, package).

I often inherit circuits started by someone else, who are less consistent in using the same type of component from the libraries everywhere, and it takes a while to go through each one and check they are correct on a large circuit.

(I know about the reports to generate this info)

If you go to Settings/Component Values, you can edit all the component values in a tabular form.

I agree with davekelly.
It would be useful to have further information on the values grid to cover the options that appear on the component properties.
This includes package, component entity, circuit reference.
I can see problems with changing circuit reference as it would have to trap duplicate references.
I often have situations where I swap from SMT to through hole and vice versa or to different resistor power sizes.
It would also be nice to be able to force new values onto the component even when it is not set up to have a value in the library.
