What is the relationship between schematic symbols (creating / editing) and Design Technology / Technology files?
I recently re-installed EPC as I increased my license from 1000 pins to 2000 pins and now when I try to edit an existing schematic symbol, the Design Technology - Text Styles are all "<System Stroke Font>" instead of the Arial 80 that I had previously assigned for [pin names], [pin numbers]. In fact, the Design Technology - Text Styles only shows [Symbol Names] as being selected (used) on these symbols.
I read the Help information, and though Design Technology is discussed for schematics and layout, the relationship to symbols / footprints is not.
My schematics still appear to have the correct styles for these components.
I assumed that once a schematic symbol was "saved", that all the attributes would "stick". What did I do wrong? Do I have to re-do my symbols?

Too Weird!
I can "fix" this issue if a create a new schematic using my custom Technology File. Now when I go to edit my symbols, they have the correct "styles". If I create a new schematic using the "default" Technology File, the symbols go back to using <System Stroke Font> (when trying to edit them), and they will stay that way.
So it looks like the "styles" used when creating a schematic symbol are volatile and not saved when the symbol is saved. Is this intentional? What would be the benefit?
