V14.01

1. How do you change the page size for PDF output from a schematic?

2. For hierarchical schematics, it would be nice if saving the root schematic as PDF also saved all the sub-sheets

Instead of using the in-built pdf output, get a hold of a PDF utility like PDF995 then select that as your windows printer. You can then alter things within that driver that might help you.

I never use the PDF output ... always PDF995 (it is free !)

Thanks.

I already use my favourite pdf printer (Bullzip), just thought the in-built pdf generation might be able to do a better job.

Rather than tie our PDF output to specific page sizes (and all the fun of US vs European paper sizes), we implemented our PDF output to just 'fit' the PDF page to the design data, and leave it to the PDF reader to scale the result to fit whatever paper you eventually want to print it on.

However, we realise now that some people really do want to work with defined paper sizes, so this is logged as an enhancement on our database.

Likewise the 'print whole project' request, its one of those common-sense options that we just missed out (perhaps by being too 'close' to the program), but its logged to be done at some point.
