Hi all

I am running the latest version and I often receive this message now:

There is nothing you can do after you receive that... the program shuts down and all changes are lost

I was not doing anything particular in the program just routing the tracks manually...

The biggest problem with this type of error is the lack of information. When it happens, it appears random, so it's next to impossible to pin down. Some users seem to be affected MUCH more than others, which suggests that interaction with some other program, or variants of operating system files, may be involved.

The point at which the crash occurs may not be when the problem happened. The undo buffer can delay the crash until the relevant data is flushed, so it could have happened 20, or 50 operations earlier, whatever the undo buffer is set to use. That makes it doubly difficult to even see what operation might be the trigger.

ANY information which can help pinpoint crashes of this sort is always welcome!
