Hi all, my first posting.
I have imported a DXF of an extrusion we fit a board into. This has slots m/c into it for LED's.
Question:-
is there a way of "grouping" the lines (ala Cadstar) so when selected the entity moves as one item, so you don't have to select every line individually. This can be a pain if once released it needs moving again.
I tried creating it as a "block" in DWG editor, but once imported it was as separate lines again.

We use Easy V9.04 for one project we inherited, so don't know if this is a feature on a later release.

Also, when an item is "fixed" can the colour be changed to identify it, or again is this on later releases.

Thanks
Russ

There is a 'group' function, but as it was only introduced in about Version 11 you won't be able to do it in your current version.

Alternatively, DXF import can read 'polygons' into Easy-PC as complete shapes, even in v9, so if you can find a command to 'merge' your lines into a single polyline then that may stand a better chance of reading in.

As for colours for highlighting fixed items, its been requested, but is still on the enhancement list.
