I use custom reports to generate BOM according to my preferences. To my surprise, the reports cover only the current schematic, not the whole project, nor is there a way to select project. On the PCB, I get the whole project, but the "Suppress component" switches do not transmit from the schematic.
Besides, is there a way to update the values from the library to the schematics?
Thank you for the support, Mathias

If you generate the reports from the main project file, it will cover all the schematics in the project. Use [Output], [Reports], etc.

That was my first guess, but I gave up, having no "output" menu on the .prj window (I get "File, Edit, View, Project, Settings, Simulation, Tools, Window, Help"). I succeded by adding a new toolbar and inserting the "reports" icon into it. It is not the first time I have to "mine" for some great feature!

We've had a number of reports of menu problems like this. Go to [Settings], [Customise], and select the 'Menus' tab. Select each menu in turn from the pull down list, and click on [Reset]. That should restore the defaults correctly. |
