Hello, today i tried to do a basic electrical machine block diagram in Easy PC. It was taking so long i just stopped and did it in Eagle instead, though it is needed in Easy PC. I find the zoom in and out on the mouse wheel is very "clunky", with very poor resolution....it zooms in/out in big steps. Also, i wasnt able to add text. I also wasnt able to add an origin at the corner of a box which i wanted to draw to a certain size. I will also need to add a company logo (jpg file) and so would you say the Easy PC Schem program is best for this?
Also, will need to add a wiring harness to it soon. Would you say the schem or PCB window is best for this?....or a library file?

1) Mouse sensitivity and zoom can be adjusted in Settings=>Preferences=>Display.
2) Free Text can be added by pressing F6 or Add=> Text.
3) Select an edge of the box by left clicking it, then right click=>Origins.Depending on how the box was drawn you may have to select a different edge to place the System/Relative origin (at item).
4)JPGs and Bitmaps can be added by Add=>Bitmap.
5) I have successfully drawn looms using the Schematic editor, but of couse its not as good as "AutoCad/SolidWorks".
Please read the User Guide!

Thanks, i dont seem to have any text styles loaded and when i click for text i get nothing. Is there a way of manually getting text styles in there. The error message is saying theres no text styles in there. On the free demo version i am indeed now able to get text, but not on this payed version.

Again, check where your libraries have been stored and that your installtion is pointing at the correct location(s).
Goto Settings=>Technology Files=>Text Styles and Select a "Default" Technology file.
Goto Settings=>Design Technology=>Text Styles and you should see a list of Text Style Names and you can add your own if you like but its generally not required. |
