Hi guys,
I'm in the middle of a project and suddenly I can't edit anything! Using Version 25. All ok until yesterday.
I can edit and change text but I can't select or move any component in either the schematic or PCB files.
Is there a "protection mode" which only allows you to look and not edit that I may have turned on by mistake? This option doesn't appear to be in settings so I'm at a loss as to what could be going on.
I really need to get this sorted out as I have to submit a Gerber file to my PCB guys soon. I need to edit before I submit.
Please help! Thanks.

There are three little buttons on the main toolbar ribbon right at the right hand side (well on my set up thats where they are)
They are called
Select Mask Components
Select Mask Routing
Select Mask Shapes
These should be clicked active

| If you can't see these icons (bordered in blue when inert, grey when active), it's possible your toolbars haven't updated correctly at some point. If this is the case, use [Settings], [Customise] and reset them on the 'Toolbars' tab. That should do it. |

Sorry Peter, -that doesn't work for me!
Can't get those "Select Mask" icons up even with "Reset All"
Edit.
Got them back now, - not quite sure what I did!

| I know don't need the information now, but for anyone with a similar problem, when you're in the 'Toolbars' dialogue, make sure that the 'Edit' toolbar is enabled as that's the one with these icons we've been discussing. |

Iain,
You're a star! The buttons were NOT clicked as active. All is now OK.
The mystery is that in all my years of using EasyPC I've never used these buttons! I'll be honest - I don't even know what they do.
I'll have to dig out the manual and go through it.
