Hi Folks
I have a project where the connection lines have mostly disappeared.

On other projects deleting a track will cause the connection line to appear and show the connection between the previously connected points.

Is it possible that I can have done something to turn this off on this particular project?

Clicking 'optimise all nets' icon usually remakes all the connection lines, but not in this project.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Gordon

Depending on your Settings=> Preferences =>PCB Interaction, deleting a track CAN also delete the net. If the net has been deleted then no "connection" line will exist. Try using BACKSPACE instead of Delete?

edrees is right in so far as it goes. He's referring to the setting on the 'PCB Interaction' tab under [Settings], [Preferences] for 'Delete Track Does Unroute'. If it's unchecked, the whole track is removed.

However, there's another simple explanation which also needs checking. Look on the 'Nets' tab under design technology. There's a 'Show Connections' column. right click on any 'Yes' entry and use [Apply To Column] to force all the connections to be visible. It may be simply that they were hidden.

It was this:

Somehow they'd all been switched to no.

All sorted now, thank you!

There are two likely ways that this could have happened. Under [View], [Net Connections] there's an option to hide them all. Alternatively, on the 'Settings and Highlights' tab under [View], [Display], 'Connections' may simply have been unchecked by mistake.
