Not noticed this in previous versions but gerber output of text does not work correctly when the following option
"design option
adjust text rotation" is selected.
it appear to output what is displayed when this option is not selected. Looks like its on all layers so text is not rotated according to this rule.
it has not so far caused me a problem but there is always a first time.
running version 14.0.3

I saw this on an old board which I am up issuing.
Perhaps it occurs when text is rotated with this option selected.
on my board the text is on copper layer and rotated 90 reading bottom to top. with text rotate option off it reads bottom to top as it does in gerber. it also happens with text on silk layer orientate this way as well.
I will keep an eye on this closely in future.

Sorry, I think I misunderstood ..... are you saying that with this option ticked, the text on the gerber is different orientation than seen on the layout screen ? ... If so thats definately wrong !
Just tried this (on silk screen layer) and it seems ok .... text comes out on gerber in same orientation as on design screen, so not sure what your problem is as it seems ok here. I am also on V13.0.3

I appreciate that it is there to make text readable. But i would expect what I see on each layer on the screen to be reproduced in the Gerber output. If not then this option needs to be turned off before the gerbers are generated and all text manually rotated, otherwise component Idents will be incorrectly produced in the gerber.
its not really a big deal and i only noticed because I imported the gebers back into design so I could overlay them will actual copper layers to check output is correct.

That has nothing to do with gerber output ..... simply makes text readable if you rotate the component .... see help files.
