I have my design close to being complete.
I need to better understand how to add features to the layer. Primarily I need to add a circle feature to a through hole mounting hole. It is difficult to overlap a circle shape to the existing hole.

Thanks, for the advise...Again it is all a lack of experience using the software.... Until I figure out the best way of doing something I will have to brute force it....

Tom, not really sure what your problem is.......

1) You can create a component comprising a pad (thru plated or non-thru plated, with, or without copper annulus) and add a silk screen circle centred on the pad. This way, if you move the hole, you move the silk screen also.

2) Add a "free" silk screen circle centred on the mounting hole. Not sure why you find this difficult! Cntrl + Left click centres the circle and use grid snap. However, if you move the pad, you have to move the (free) circle with it, (or "Group" the items together).

As you gain more experience with EPC you will find many ways of overcoming problems, most times there is no right or wrong way of doing things.
