I am new to Easy PC and am just getting started.

When creating board outlines from scratch am I limited to the shapes
in the ADD/BOARD menu?

With a simple rectangle shape I would like to chamfer the corners. I can do this edit segment menu selection but this seems a bit tedious.

Are the some additional tutorials on this topic I can look into?

Use the Add board -> Shape option. Click on the first corner, then right click and set the segment mode to Mitre. Or Free, if you want a really odd shaped board.
