Both "Show nearest node on net" and "show legal completion path" often lead to the same pin as your start routing from. This seems a bit unlogical, it also sometimes gives strange results with "autocomplete" back to the same pad.

Others also experienced this ?

Regards,
Marcel

I understand that it is the nearest node, but it is a bit silly isn't it

Yes, I think this is how it works. The nearest node on net is the starting point and so it loops back to itself.
