Auto Rename / Back annotation issue

(1) Auto Rename Components to rename the whole pcb (or just part of it)
(2) Back Annotate ... all works fine
(3) Integrity Check ... "designs are the same"
(4) Do an identical Auto Rename Components ... nothing changes (ie. all "new ref"values equal the "old ref" values)
(5) Back Annotate ... no renames occur (since nothing has changed !!) .. correct.
(6) Do another Integrity Check ... oops ... "we have renames that have not been back annotated" ...
(7) Under "Back Annotate" you can "View Renames" ... there are none.
To fix this, you have to go to "Back Annotate" and then "Delete Renames" (even though there aren't any !!)
