Hi all,

I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2 with EasyPC v12.0.4

I created a board some little while ago (no schematic as its quite a simple design) and have managed to get all the outputs I need - I've had considerable problems with pdf creation on this same design.

However, as usual a design change is needed to the board shape - its a 50 x 60mm rectangle at the moment and I need to place an 8mm cutout on one side.

The problem - I can't select the board outline to change it, in fact I can't select it and delete it either!

I started a new pcb design in the same project and all works ok - I can create a rectangle or polygon outline, amend and delete it.
Something is therefore embedded or is locked but I just cannot see what I've done to provoke this 'feature'!

Any suggestions welcome as I'm on the verge recreating the design with all the print jobs needed - no small task even on a small pcb!

Olga - you are a STAR!!!! (and perhaps a guru)!

As part of the spec I had to hide the outline - in my rush I didn't realise (or notice) the 'key' for the selections when I had to make it visible again.

There seems to be so many little things that need to be learnt but when using the program on an irregular basis it becomes even harder.

My thanks again for such a quick and almost lifesaving reply!

Hi Roger,

In the display settings, on the second tab, make sure that the tick box for the Board is set to 'visible' and not 'visible but not selectable'.

HTH :)

Best wishes,
Olga.
