I placed a DXF in the PCB then traced it to create the board using ADD Board. Then I deleted the DXF lines.

The board fills on the special effects layer no problems. BUT when I create the gerber outputs the DXF text shows up in left field in the top silkscreen gerber.

I looked in the PCB file but I cannot see these text labels (were originally in teh DXF as J1, J2, J3...).

How can I find the DXF remnents and delete them out of the PCB?

Thanks
Tim C.

If they have been imported from DXF then they will be there as lots of small 'shapes' for each letter of the text. You should be able to see them if you display all the layers of your design.

Instead to tracing the board, save your self a lot of time by simly changing the dxf outline to a board using change shape type.
