I have a 4 layer PCB layout where on one particular through hole socket an inner track comes off one of the pins. Unfortunately this pad had been checked as un-plated so on the production boards this causes an open circuit. However running a design rule check does not pick this up !

After updating to V12.03 I am astonished that this problem still persists. We have already had a problem with one batch of boards because of this glaring error yet nothing seems to be done about it.

Come on Number One --- spill the beans on this one

Peter...

Do you know if this problem has been resolved ?

I'm surprised it's not been fixed yet! I'll chase it.

Has there been any progress on this problem.... I just about send out yet another board for manufacture with an unplated component connection that had inner tracks attached, and the DRC did not pick it up !!. I have already had a batch of boards "blue-wired" to overcome a previous similar problem and feel deeply embarrassed that I just about made the same error yet again.

I am convinced this is a top-priority bug and expected it to be corrected in the latest update but it still seems to be there !

This does sound like a logical error in the checking. I'll pass it on to the programmers for correction.
