Just noticed I had a QFP device and an SM resistor directly under it on the same side of ther board !! (were meant to be on opposite sides). However there seems to be no design rule error to trap for this situation.

Can this be added to the wish list ?

Iain

So done - but please bear in mind that sometimes components are stacked deliberately to save space, so it will have to be a selectable check.
