Hi,

Is it possible to view selected component like
pad, track.
I need to see only the pad without the track
but I can't find the way to do it.

Thank you

If you're having trouble with layers, it might be easier to go to [View], [Dockable Bars], and make sure that the 'Layers' dockable bar is visible on the right of the Easy-PC window. If you hover over this, a panel slides out that lets you control layer visibility very quickly and easily. This will also let you control visibility of pads as well, with the [All], [Top], and [Bottom] layer settings.

You can get email notification by subscribing to the topic. There are links at the top and bottom of this page.

To unsubscribe when the topic has finished, you will need to use the 'My Subs' link in the menus at the top.

A pad style always includes the drilling information. If you're not seeing a hole when you print the layer, then you may have the check box(es) for fill plated and/or unplated holes active. They're on the 'Settings' tab in the plotting & printing screen. The other possibility is that it's being caused by a track to drill error. Design rule checking will show this, and you can learn more about it in the help topic 'Drill Backoff check'.

Sorry for the trouble again...
I think I still got some problem.

Is it possible to select the follow,
- Display Pad
- Disable bottom copper track
- Enable top copper track for drawing.

I think I may have got the drawing concept wrong somehow.

The pad is a through hole for DIP IC,
non surface mount component.
Therefore I need to see where the pads
are located in order to route the top copper.
I need to disable the bottom track
so that the route is easier to see.

I am building the design from PCB directly
and not by the schematic.
Does laying the bottom pad (round with hole in the middle)
on the PCB board, includes the drilling information.
Or do I have to place another pad for drilling instruction.?

I try to print the top layer, but cannot
see the holes. I must have miss something,
which might answer my routing problem too.

Thank you for your advise.

Thank you.
After figuring out for a while I got it.
Actually there is the row & column for user to choose
the Yes/No option.
I didn't manged to understand the Yes/No
on the top 2 row initially.
Now I got it.

There is a bug I found.
When I select the "No" option
for the bottom copper.
The view disable the bottom copper.
When I execute the undo,
the bottom copper did not re-appear.
However the Display option is already updated.
I have to re-visit the Display option dialog
and click ok. To refresh the display.
I try other layer is ok.
Only the bottom copper is not working
using the undo features.

I have try diable the bottom copper,
but the bottom pad get disabled as well.

Another question regarding the forum.
Is there an option to receive email notification
when there is a reply to the forum.
I tried but can't find any configuration.

Thank you.

Using [View], [Display], it's possible to globally hide a wide range of structures, including tracks, pads, symbol pads, but there's no hide selected item such as there is for nets.
