I noticed that after creating a schematic several nets which should not, were connected to eachother.
One of the reasons I found is that if a net is "named" and you delete the wire, the "floating" component pin to which this wire was connected does still has this net name. I consider this very "unpleasant" behaviour. Is this a setting, which I am overlooking, or is this a bug. ( I surely hope it's not intentionally  )

I have this problem from time to time. I learnt that I had to deal with this the hard way while trying to separate two joined supply rails on a manufactured PCB !
I now display names on all nets and change their colour from black as I check them and change their names to something meaningful.
An option while breaking a net to display 'Do you want to change the part net name?' or some equivalent would be useful. The inverse mechanism already exists (joining nets). |

I've been caught by this 'feature' a number of times. Now I carefully check all my nets to make sure there are no hidden unwanted links.

Seems interesting. All three boxes were selected. But I noticed other behaviour:
If I go to settings -> pcb interaction and check "Remove isolated pads from net" Then in schematic it works correctly.
However I wonder what the side effect in PCB will be.
Or is the option just placed in the wrong menu ? |

Try Settings =>Preferences=>Schematic Interaction =>Delete.
You will find 3 tick boxes to select the "mode" you require. I do not have the problem you describe. |

To be sure I just checked again, different sheet, different net. If a net is manually renamed and the wire is deleted. just5 hoover with the mouse over a component pin and the component pin shows the old netname. Connect the pin to another pin and the wire bears the old netname. I noticed another thread about unintentionally connected nets after copying, might be related to this.

Probably because there is still some wire attached to the component pin. |
