Hi all,
I had to take over an Easy PC project of a former colleague.
First I ran an integrity check and I got a lot of this one:
"Warning: Project has more than one version of Component "xxxxxxxxx", at least one should be reloaded otherwise results may be incorrect."
The old integrity report didn't show this warnings.
Since I'm not really familiar with EasyPC I need some help to overcome this situation. For example I don't have the faintest idea how to select different versions of the reported components.

Regards from Hannover and please excuse my bad English,
Michael

P.S. David, thanks for your very quick reaction regarding my lost password!

If I understand this correctly this seems like a very bad idea to me.
Certainly something to forward to a wishlist for a high
priority change?

I've seen something similar and
managed to fix/bypass it - not sure which I did now - which is
why this attracted my attention.
I think it arose from my importing a library.

Not an issue right now but thanks for the explanation Peter.

I've replied off list to this, but for the benefit of other users...

When a symbol or component is saved, it's internally given a time stamp. This allows supposedly identical components in different sheets of a project to be checked. If they're found to have different time stamps, a warning like this is given.

The way to reset it is to 'Update Component' on all the schematics. This means that all the timestamps will match, but beware, if they really ARE different, you might get some odd results.
