Since V14 after adding a component to a schematic it puts the component selection window on screen ready for another.
Is there any way to stop this happening?
This window appears on top of the new component and prevents me from positioning it.
There is a delay sometimes of a second or so and Easy-PC interprets any keys strokes meant for the schematic during that time as actions on the component selection window.
Having to wait and then close the window for each component is really a pain. |

Thanks - I found a preference that worked 'esc in add component ...'.
Difficult to relate that description to the problem but it works!

I believe there is a way of stopping the window re-appearing in the "Preferences" drop down menu.
What I find is annoying is that when you have clicked the component window (which "locks" the library selected) after you have clicked and placed one component, the components window required re-clicking to re-lock the library selected, i.e. if you want to scroll down the component list, you end up scrolling the libraries. |
