Hi,

Have used the provided NE5534 Op Amp in the Easy PC provided library, and when Translating to PCB it states "Could not add "IC1" component "NE5534ADG" package "SOL" to target design".

Is this because the NE5534 has the option of 3 (three) packages and i have not picked the first (or default ??) package ???.

Not a problem, i can create my own library component of this device, but just need to check if this is an issue for the future - will create a separate component for multiple packaged component. Thanks.

Regards,

Richard.

Hi Peter,

Thanks - yes - that was probably the issue - added an NE5534 selected the SOL package, forward the design changes and it the SOL package was implemented. Thanks.

Regards.

Richard.

Would need a lot more detail, but it's possible that you've got more than one component in your libraries with that name, and the one it's finding doesn't have the SOL package defined. That's the most likely cause.

Hi,

I have created the new NE5534 in a separate library, and this has soled the problem.

Regards,

Richard.
