Is there any way to change the size of the tie dots? They are hardly visible when I print my schematic.

Look at the pad styles in your schematic. They use a style called '[Junction]'. Editing that will change them globally, but just for that design. If you want to change it for all new designs, open your preferred technology file ([File], [Open], would you believe?), and edit the style in there.
