How do I find out if a net is used in other sheets of my project?

Unfortunately, there's no simple way to do this. The best way I could find is to use (from the project window) [Output], [Reports], [Wiring List]. This lists the components and interconnections, so that at least will let you see to which other components a net is attached, which makes it easier to determine if it's off-sheet, but doesn't tell you which other sheet is being used.

I've logged a user request on your behalf for a 'Where used' function to be implemented'.
