Was having a play with the 3D stuff but couldnt find an option to import step files etc.
Is the only way to enter complex components such as connectors, by hand?
Cant be bothered drawing everything by hand.

At present the only way is by hand, or by configuring one of the built-in models.
I'm fairly certain that the models aren't stored in any standard format, but I've no idea how difficult it would be to provide a 3D import capability.
