Posted - 17 Jan 2011 : 16:54:08 I've made a project and added two schematic sheets that have all components renamed and nets renumbered to avoid duplications. there are obviously some nets shared like +5V and connections between IC on each sheet. If I then pick a schematic and translate to pcb only the components in that schematic move to the pcb. It is my understanding form the help file that multiple sheets in a project make a single pcb?
Have I missed something.. |

Posted - 17 Jan 2011 : 18:56:29 Not sure what is going on. Within a project if you "translate" to PCB, all the schematics in the file will be translated to a single pcb file. Make sure that project file and schematics are in the same directory, and make sure you don't have a schematic in the project that is located in another directory.
I have never had any problems with projects with multiple schematics.... use it all the time !

Posted - 17 Jan 2011 : 17:26:48 Umm,
Well when forwarding design changes I kept getting an error it could not find the schematic file that was open and in the project? It had added blank square where spaces were in the file title? I ended up dragging everything across to one large messy schematic and started again that worked though....? |

Posted - 17 Jan 2011 : 17:02:49 Hi,
Yes - this is how it works for me - as long as the Project page displays all schematics as a list - then they will be transferred to the PCB.
This is true for V12, V13 and V14 which i have used.

Richard. |
