Just in case anyone else is jumping ahead and trying Easy-PC on Windows 7, our attention has been drawn to an issue with nVidia graphics drivers that seem to cause Easy-PC to pause or even hang.

To quote from the customer who worked out what was wrong with his system...

"The NVidia driver that was installed when Win7 installs is dated 14-5-09, 8.15.11.8593, and according to Microsoft is the latest and correct driver. Also, if you test for updates, that is the one.

However, on the NVidia site there is another driver dated 17-8-09,
8.16.11.9062 and when that is installed, all is OK.

Then, if you were to go to update the driver again, Windows will reinstall the 14-5-09 driver (ie back to the error situation)."

Hopefully this may help someone else avoid getting stuck with the same problem.
