Posted - 02 Aug 2009 : 11:14:08 I note that you cannot cross-probe in dual screen mode ... or say do integrity checks.... gives an error saying it can't be dome as another instance or the file is already open ???
Is this right or am I doing something dumb !

Posted - 05 Aug 2009 : 10:38:23 Just upgraded to 13.0.1 but still problems with dual screen mode. Intergity checks now seen ok .... However on cross-probe .....
If a single schematic and pcb .... works fine.
If singlw schematic and pcb in a project .... only works one way - i.e from pcb to schematic, not from schematic to pcb.
If a project with more than one schematic then does not work at all !
Iain
PS .... still no Online Manuals tab !

Posted - 03 Aug 2009 : 15:58:06 I'm just trying out the new dual monitor stuff & cross probe works fine, but as you say, the integrity check doesn't. However, I get a different error for the integrity check: Failed to import from file: <location>

Posted - 03 Aug 2009 : 11:27:30 Hi
I have just installed the v13 upgrade and I'm experiencing the same error message as Iain. I have a Dell Precision M90 laptop with dual outputs.

I have emailed the report to you....

Posted - 03 Aug 2009 : 10:04:02 Sounds like we might be into something system- or setting-specific, I have just tried a simple example here and it works for me (I'm currently running on XP64).
If I can ask you to save your Support report (Help, Support, Support Info) and send it to us, we'll take a closer look.
I wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same problem?

We are working on a problem with integrity check (also affects back annotation and forward design changes as they are all related) where one instance isn't correctly 'releasing' its hold on the design file so the other instance can get to it. But no indication that Crossprobe isn't working properly.
At the risk of asking the obvious, have you been to Settings, Preferences, Dual Screen and enabled the dual screen mode? If you have, after closing and restarting Easy-PC your schematic instance should be captioned 'Easy-PC:SCM' and the pcb one 'Easy-PC:PCB'. Once these two are running, they should talk to each other properly, including Crossprobe.
