Is it possible to find all instances of a specific component and then select all instances to allow all to be changed

for example i have a component defined as a 100n cap 1206 footprint

I want to change all of these to 100n 0805.

I know that i can select each one and use the ctrl to multi select but
it takes a lot of time to find each one and then select them all

Enable the 'Goto' dockable bar if it's not already present, by using [View], [Dockable Bars], [Goto].

At the top of the bar select 'Component (By Type)', then choose your component type. Right click on the entry and choose 'Select All Find Items'. Now you can right click on any one and use the [Change] button in the properties.
