Hi,

How to suppress smd pad from Stencil output file?
I want the smd pad to be on PCB board, but the stencil should cover up the pad as it is not in use.

Thank you for the advise.

Best Regards

Is the pad (style) in question unique? If it's not can you make it unique?

Then, you will need to add an exception to the solder paste layer for that unique pad (otherwise every other pad with that same style will be without solder paste). Use Settings=> Design Tech => Pad style.
Select the name of the unique pad then Add Exception and modify the size of the solder paste to 0.

But what's the problem with the pad having solder paste (which will reflow when pcb is processed) if the pad isn't used anyway?
